The California State Water Resources Control Board issued a media release on March 22, 2021 stating: "continued dry conditions prompt early warning about potential water shortages, water users are urged to reduce and conserve."
In the light of our states ongoing water crisis those of us who live in Clear Creek need to do our part to conserve water and minimize our consumption.
Our changing climate requires Californians to move beyond temporary emergency drought measures and adopt permanent changes to use water more wisely and prepare for more frequent and persistent periods of limited water supply. Conservation and efficiency also reduce the energy needed to pump, transport, treat and deliver water. Your small changes make a big impace.
Only by working together can we imporve and sustain the state's water future for generations to come.
